Munish has been part of the Investment & Family Office space for the last 27 years with experience across different corporate cultures with global brands like ABN Amro bank, Fidelity Funds group and domestic houses like Avendus Capital, Waterfield Advisors etc.
In his rich and diverse experience, he has seen volatility in the investment markets from the eyes of a wealth manager, a banker, an institutional portfolio advisor, a product manager and for the last 7 years as a Family Office Advisor.
More importantly his experience has also taught him a lot about human behaviour in times of extreme volatility. This behavioural experience is something that allows him to understand a client's expectations, fears, regrets, risk taking ability and also what risk actually means to the client. The emotional part of the investment process is much underestimated and often absolutely alien to many wealth managers. This EQ (along with IQ) is exactly what is required while managing Family Offices. His job intertwines many aspects of family wealth and well-being. The 'risks' are not just in the financial markets but also in the areas of succession, legacy, family governance & conflict management.
Working as a Chief Investment Officer in his previous role, has trained/taught Munish to expect the unexpected, educating him on the need to have a strategy for all market scenarios rather than criticize it as a reaction.
Munish has done his formal education in Economics, Mathematics & Business Management.
